Nigerian comedians AY Makun and Basketmouth have officially ended their 18-year feud. 
The reconciliation was marked by both comedians following each other on Instagram, signaling a new chapter in their relationship.
The feud began in 2006 over a financial disagreement. AY Makun claimed that Basketmouth had invited him to perform at a comedy show in his place but did not pay him the agreed fee of ₦30,000, despite receiving the payment from the event organizers. This incident led to a prolonged period of tension and public disputes between the two comedians.
However, on September 14, 2024, Basketmouth celebrated his 46th birthday with a heartfelt post on Instagram. AY Makun responded with a warm birthday message, expressing his good wishes and prayers for Basketmouth.
