Veteran Nollywood actor Emmanuel France has passed away at the age of 84.
The news of his death was shared by filmmaker Femi Ogedengbe on social media.
Ogedengbe reminisced about their time working together, particularly highlighting a memorable trip to Tanzania in 2006 where they collaborated on three films: "Cross My Sin", "She Is My Sister", and "The Director".
Emmanuel France, originally from Ghana, was celebrated for his gentlemanly demeanor and deep respect for others. He was known for his roles in numerous films, including *Domitilla* (1996) and *The Curfew* (2021). Despite his many achievements, one of his unfulfilled dreams was to produce a film titled *Ghana Must Go*, a project that was very dear to him.
France's passing is a significant loss to the Nollywood community, where he was cherished for his humor and vibrant personality. His contributions to the industry have left a lasting impact on filmmakers, fellow actors, and fans alike.
