Enzo Maresca recently addressed Chelsea's injury concerns, confirming that Reece James, Malo Gusto, and Romeo Lavia are unavailable for the club's upcoming match.

Maresca explained, “Reece James is not ready and he needs more time,” as the right-back continues to recover from a hamstring injury sustained in August.

He also shared that Malo Gusto, who deputized for James, “is also out for tomorrow’s game,” due to a suspension following a red card against Aston Villa.

Additionally, Maresca mentioned that “Romeo Lavia is very close, hopefully he is back for the next game,” referring to Lavia’s recovery from an ankle injury he picked up in training earlier in the season.

Chelsea’s next Premier League fixture is against Bournemouth on September 14, 2024, followed by an away match against West Ham United on September 21.
