It was learnt that the decision to close the restaurant comes as a response to serious environmental violations.
Reasons for the Seal
Donald’s has faced scrutiny for noise pollution and other environmental infractions. According to Tokunboh Wahab, the State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, the sealing was carried out after multiple warnings were issued to the establishment.
Wahab disclosed the enforcement action on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting that the restaurant's non-compliance with regulations left LASEPA with no alternative but to proceed with the closure.
Wahab stated, "The sealing of Donald's comes after repeated notices and warnings. We had no choice but to take this action to ensure compliance with environmental regulations."
