Nigerian high life Singer Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour N'abania, has responded to the recent sentencing of Courage Ikpaka by the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Ikpaka was sentenced to two years in prison for impersonating Flavour and defrauding an American woman, Yvelte M. Thompson, of $53,000.
After Ikpaka pleaded guilty and the prosecution's evidence was reviewed, Justice Dipeolu handed down the two-year prison sentence. However, the court provided an option for Ikpaka to pay a fine of N2 million instead. Additionally, the judge ordered the forfeiture of N7.9 million, which was recovered from Ikpaka, to be returned to Mrs. Thompson.
Flavour reacted to the news on his X handle by posting a photo of the impersonator and writing, "One down. Ndi uchu!"
