Sonia Ighalo, the ex-wife of footballer Jude Ighalo, recently took to social media to commend him for his kindness towards her and their children, despite the end of their marriage.
In a heartfelt post on her Instastories, Sonia emphasized the importance of marrying a God-fearing man who loves children. She advised women to choose partners who, even if the relationship deteriorates, will remain actively involved in their children's lives.
Sonia shared a personal anecdote, highlighting Jude's thoughtfulness. She recalled, "Flashback Wednesday >>July24Naija I told my ex that I was craving Kilishi at exactly 1pm to be precise. Guy sent one of his boys in Abuja to send me Kilishi by ✈️ asap and delivered it himself the same day. Sis, find better man for your unborn children o get why."
In another post, she prayed for God to bless all responsible fathers, writing, "God bless all the responsible fathers out there. I pray Psalm 128:2 into your lives. Amen. My sis no be to marry. Try marry a God-fearing man wey love children. So that if things sour between una and you decide to move on re-marry, he will still be there for his children."
Sonia and Jude Ighalo were married for several years and have three children together. Despite their separation in 2019, a brief reconciliation in 2021, and final split in 2022, Sonia's recent posts highlight the positive relationship she maintains with Jude for the sake of their kids.
