39-year-old, who serves as the captain of Team Nigeria at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, won a gold medal by lifting an impressive 167kg. This remarkable achievement makes her the first para-athlete in history to lift such a weight in her category.

In the same event, Deng Xuemei of China secured the silver medal with a lift of 155kg, while Egypt's Nadia Ali claimed the bronze with a 145kg lift. This victory adds to Oluwafemiayo’s list of groundbreaking accomplishments in Para-Powerlifting and underscores her dominance on the global stage.
