Perry, who was recognized with the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at this year’s event in New York, performed a medley of her most popular songs. Among them was the debut of her highly anticipated track, “I’m His, He’s Mine,” featuring Doechii, which is set to be released on Friday.
Orlando Bloom, after introducing Perry’s performance, observed from the audience as the two performers shared a small stage. At one point, Doechii twerked on Perry while rapping her verse, creating an intimate atmosphere. The performance became more intense when Doechii bent backward, and Perry leaned in, nearly kissing her collaborator.
The cameras later panned to Bloom to capture his reaction to the close interaction between Perry and Doechii. Bloom was seen watching attentively, nodding slightly, before smiling and applauding when he realized he was on camera.
