Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to miss Bournemouth's upcoming clash against Chelsea due to being cup-tied, following his recent loan transfer to Bournemouth for the 2024/25 season.
Kepa had previously been on loan at Real Madrid during the 2023/24 season, where he made 20 appearances and secured nine clean sheets. Before his move to Bournemouth, he signed a one-year contract extension with Chelsea.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola expressed his anticipation for Kepa’s contribution to the team, noting that they were "keen to take the opportunity" to bring him on board. The club believes Kepa will strengthen their goalkeeping department, adding depth to the squad.
