Manchester United's Antony Santos set to join Turkish side Fenerbahçe on loan before transfer window close

Manchester United's winger, Antony, is reportedly seeking a loan move to rejuvenate his career. The 24-year-old Brazilian has struggled to find form at Old Trafford since his high-profile transfer from Ajax in August 2022, which cost the club £81.3 million.

Since joining Manchester United, Antony has made 35 appearances across all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing two assists. Despite his initial promise, he has found it challenging to maintain consistent performance levels.

Throughout the summer, Antony has been linked with a potential exit, attracting interest from several clubs. Fenerbahce, managed by former United boss Jose Mourinho, has emerged as the leading contender for his signature.

Reports suggest that Antony has communicated his desire to leave to Manchester United, and the club is open to arranging a loan deal. Besides Fenerbahce, there is also interest from his former club Ajax, as well as teams in Spain, France, and Saudi Arabia. However, Fenerbahce is considered the favorite, especially since their transfer window remains open until this Friday.

It's been learnt that Antony, who is under contract with Manchester United until 2027, is reportedly earning around £200,000 per week.
