Apostle Johnson Suleman, founder of Omega Fire Ministries, recently addressed the public following an apology letter from actress Halima Abubakar.

This controversy traces back to 2022 when Abubakar accused Suleman of misconduct, leading to a long public dispute. Abubakar has now retracted her allegations and issued a public apology seeking Suleman's forgiveness.

In a sincere statement shared on her Instagram, Abubakar admitted her previous claims were "false and hurtful." She expressed deep remorse for the pain caused to Suleman, his family, and his ministry. Reflecting on her actions, she attributed them to poor judgment and emphasized that her apology was driven by "deep reflection and conscience."

Responding on social media, Apostle Suleman acknowledged Abubakar's apology but clarified that forgiveness does not mean forgetting. He stated, "You all stop calling my phone. Forgiveness is not memory loss! Status quo maintained!" on X (formerly Twitter). Suleman highlighted that while he forgives Abubakar, the consequences of her actions remain.

The drama between the two escalated in 2023 when Abubakar claimed she had been pregnant three times with Suleman's child. Subsequently, a Federal Capital Territory High Court ordered Abubakar to pay N10 million in damages for making derogatory comments about Suleman and barred her from further defamatory statements.
