Nigerian music star Habeeb Okikiola, known by his stage name Portable, experienced a terrifying encounter on Wednesday when he narrowly escaped an assassination attempt.
The incident took place in Ota, Ogun State, as Portable was heading to his Zazu Bitters office. A man armed with a gun tried to attack the singer, but thanks to the swift intervention of his fans, the assailant was captured.
In a dramatic video shared online, Portable is seen confronting the attacker, who was already subdued by his supporters. The man, with visible blood stains on his mouth, vehemently denied any intention of killing Portable, but the singer demanded to know who had orchestrated the attack.
