Lamine Yamal to Miss Spain's UEFA Nations League Clash Against Serbia

Lamine Yamal, the 17-year-old Barcelona forward, will miss Spain's upcoming UEFA Nations League match against Serbia on October 15th due to a muscle injury sustained during Spain's 1-0 victory over Denmark on October 12th.

It was learnt that Yamal was substituted in the closing minutes of the match after experiencing discomfort in his left leg.

The injury was confirmed to be a muscle strain, and although there is no structural damage, the medical team has decided to withdraw Yamal from the squad to prevent any further injury.

Meanwhile Spain's next match is scheduled for October 15th at Estadio Nuevo Arcángel in Córdoba, with kickoff set for 21:45 GMT+3.

Spain secured their win against Denmark thanks to a late goal from Martin Zubimendi in the 79th minute, marking their third consecutive victory in the UEFA Nations League group stage.
