Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has announced that forward Diogo Jota will be unavailable for the upcoming Premier League match against Arsenal. 
Jota suffered a rib injury in Liverpool's recent 2-1 win over Chelsea, which led to his early exit in the first half. Darwin Nunez replaced him on the field shortly after Mohamed Salah scored the opening goal from the penalty spot.
During his pre-match press conference, Slot shared details about Jota’s condition, stating, "I think they feel good but not when it comes to playing for us during the weekend. Federico might train with us today or tomorrow – but Diogo definitely not." This update confirms that Jota will miss the Arsenal clash as he continues his recovery.
Jota has made seven Premier League appearances this season, with two goals scored, both during away matches. In addition, he has contributed to four goal involvements (goals and assists) throughout the season, underscoring his value to the team.
