Chelsea captain Reece James has rejoined full team training after an extended absence due to a hamstring injury sustained during pre-season.
The 24-year-old right-back has been out of action since August and experienced a setback in September, prolonging his recovery.
James' return to training is a significant boost for Chelsea, particularly with an important match against Liverpool scheduled for this weekend on October 20, 2024. Although it remains uncertain if he will be fit enough to play, his presence in training is a positive sign for the team.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca expressed optimism about James' recovery, stating, "We're hopeful Reece will be back in action soon. His determination and hard work in training have been impressive."
