Barcelona's rising star, Pau Cubarsí, recently posted images showing stitches across his face following a serious injury sustained in their Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade. 
The young defender was caught in the face by an opponent’s boot during the second half, leading to his exit from the game in the 67th minute. Barcelona’s head coach, Hansi Flick, confirmed that Cubarsí required stitches but reassured supporters that the 17-year-old is recovering well.
Reflecting on Cubarsí's resilience, Flick said, "Cubarsí is fine, he’s been given stitches, but he’s young. When you get older it’s not good, but now it is."
In that same match, Barcelona displayed an impressive offensive drive, defeating Red Star Belgrade with a dominant 5-2 scoreline. Robert Lewandowski netted twice, while Iñigo Martínez, Raphinha, and Fermin Lopez each added to the score, contributing to a confident victory.
This win marked Barcelona's third success in the Champions League this season, advancing them to sixth in their group standings and further solidifying their ambitions in the tournament.
