BBNaija Star Tacha Unveils Football Club, Promises ₦1 Million Rewards and Scholarships for Players

Big Brother Naija alumna Anita Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has made waves by launching her football club, Tacha FC, which will compete in the Lagos Liga tournament in December.

This venture aligns her with other Nigerian celebrities like Don Jazzy and Burna Boy, who have also delved into football ownership.

During the club’s first open trials, Tacha promised substantial rewards for players and staff. Each player on the team is set to receive ₦1 million after every tournament, with an equivalent amount allocated for the coach. She also committed to reinvesting profits back into the club to support its growth and operations.

Additionally, Tacha announced that selected student-athletes would receive scholarships covering their education up to the university level, a move aimed at fostering both talent and education.

Sharing her excitement, Tacha described the turnout at the trials as “exceptional,” expressing her determination to redefine the intersection of football, lifestyle, and community. She posted on Instagram: “@Tacha.FC Open Trials was EXCEPTIONAL!!! 50Million we’re coming for YOU!!!” .
