Eden Hazard, the former Chelsea star, found himself in a playful predicament when a popular barber for footballers, Ahmed Alsanawi, tricked him into wearing a Tottenham Hotspur shirt during a recent visit.
Alsanawi, the owner of A Star Barbers, has established himself as a trusted choice among Premier League players for their grooming needs.
While Hazard has been a regular client at A Star Barbers for several years, this particular visit took an unexpected turn. As he settled in for a trim, Alsanawi playfully draped a Spurs kit over his cover. The moment was met with immediate recognition from the 33-year-old Belgian, who exclaimed, “Bro, what are you doing man?” in disbelief, before promptly removing the shirt while Alsanawi chuckled at the joke.
During the appointment, Hazard was sporting a hoodie featuring the logo of Fini by A Star, a haircare product line infused with Oud fragrance, for which he serves as an ambassador. Despite the lighthearted prank, Alsanawi's reputation as the go-to barber for elite footballers remains intact, ensuring that stars with unruly hair continue to seek his services.
Hazard, who officially retired from professional football in October 2022, made an indelible mark at Chelsea, where he scored 110 goals in 352 appearances. His contributions were instrumental in securing two Premier League titles, two UEFA Europa League titles, and other domestic honors, solidifying his legacy as one of the club's all-time greats.
