"How My Best Friend Ruined My Marriage" - Actress Ronke Odusanya

Nollywood actress Ronke Odusanya has finally addressed the dissolution of her marriage to Saheed Olarewaju, commonly known as Jago.

In a recent interview with her colleague, Bimpe Akintunde, she revealed troubling details about the circumstances surrounding their separation.

Odusanya alleged that a friend of hers misled Jago by claiming that she intended to leave him to pursue prostitution. This friend also accused her of spending the night at a senator's house with their daughter, Fife. "My ex later realized that he shouldn’t have listened to the things he heard back then," she stated, expressing her disbelief upon hearing Jago's claims.

To counter the accusations, Odusanya sent Jago a photo as proof of her whereabouts at the time. She explained, "God gave me grace because I recorded a video with the time and date on my phone. I filmed it when we got to where we would sleep."

Reflecting on the emotional toll of their separation, Odusanya shared that she was left with nothing, as all her jewelry was taken away during the split. "I fainted and wondered where to start," she recalled, revealing that she felt utterly devastated. "I cried so much that day because I didn’t have up to N10,000 in my account, but I decided this was it. There was no money to secure accommodation."
