José Mourinho has firmly dismissed rumors linking Cristiano Ronaldo with a move to Fenerbahçe, labeling the reports as "ridiculous."
José Mourinho humorously remarked, "Cristiano might come to Istanbul to eat because it's right in the middle of the road between Saudi and Portugal. Or maybe he'll come see his old friend Jose; we can eat at my hotel!".
Currently playing for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo has been exceptional since his arrival in January 2023. The Portuguese star has netted 51 goals in 58 appearances, further cementing his legacy as one of the greatest footballers. Ronaldo is reportedly earning $243 million annually with Al Nassr.
Meanwhile, Mourinho, who recently took charge of Fenerbahçe, is reportedly focused on enhancing the club’s competitiveness. While rumors of Ronaldo’s move persist, Fenerbahçe’s sporting director Mario Branco has reportedly initiated discussions, although the feasibility of such a transfer remains doubtful.
