Manchester City returned to training on Sunday following a frustrating 4-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Goals from James Maddison (13', 20'), Pedro Porro (52'), and Brennan Johnson (90+3') inflicted City's fifth consecutive defeat, their worst run under Pep Guardiola. The team shared images of their recovery session on social media with the caption "Sunday work," as they prepare for the upcoming UEFA Champions League match.
The recent defeats have compounded Manchester City's struggles this season. They were beaten 2-1 by Brighton and Bournemouth earlier in November, and also suffered a 4-1 loss to Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League.
Looking ahead, Manchester City's next match is on Tuesday, November 26, when they face Feyenoord in the Champions League at the Etihad Stadium. The team will need to bounce back from their poor form if they hope to salvage their season and regain confidence before their Premier League clash with Liverpool on Sunday, December 1.
