Manchester United are reportedly considering a loan move for Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee in the upcoming January transfer window, merely six months after his £36.5 million transfer from Bologna.
Since joining the club, Zirkzee has struggled to secure a regular starting position under new manager Rúben Amorim.
Zirkzee has made 17 appearances across all competitions this season, with a return of one goal and two assists. Despite showing glimpses of his potential, he has started only four Premier League games and has found it challenging to adapt to the league’s physical demands and high intensity.
As the January window approaches, Manchester United are exploring loan options that would allow the 23-year-old to gain more consistent playing time and further his development.
Juventus has emerged as a strong candidate, with the Serie A club reportedly interested in adding Zirkzee to their attacking lineup. The Italian side’s interest signals a potential opportunity for the forward to gain experience in a different competitive environment.
Manchester United’s decision will likely hinge on finding a move that aligns with both the club’s goals and Zirkzee’s growth, aiming for a deal that would benefit all parties involved.
