Producer Vampire Grace Speaks Out on Psquare’s Song Dispute
Nigerian music producer Vampire Grace, who produced the song "Winning" for renowned musical duo Psquare, has addressed the recent controversy surrounding the track's release. This dispute has reportedly reignited tensions between the twin brothers, Peter Okoye (Mr. P) and Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), as Rudeboy publicly accused Mr. P of releasing the song without his approval.
In a recent statement, Vampire Grace explained his role in the production and sought to clarify his involvement. "I produced and recorded 'Winning' for Psquare in 2022. I sent the stems to Psquare for mixing and mastering, got paid, and left Lagos," he noted. "Two years later, one of them released the song. How is that my fault? Am I managing Psquare?"
Emphasizing his limited involvement beyond the production, Vampire Grace distanced himself from the siblings' ongoing discord. This incident, however, appears to have reopened old wounds between Peter and Paul, who famously reconciled in 2021 following years of estrangement.
