Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has announced that defender Ronald Araujo will rejoin team training on Sunday.
It's been learnt that Araujo has been recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained during the Copa America 2024 while representing Uruguay against Brazil. Although he missed the start of the season, Flick is optimistic about Araujo's progress, stating, "He’s gonna be back with us this week."
While Araujo's return is a positive development, it remains uncertain if he will be available for Barcelona's upcoming match against Celta Vigo this weekend. His return will be a significant boost as Barcelona gears up for their Champions League match against Brest on November 26 and their La Liga fixture against Las Palmas on November 30.
Flick emphasized the importance of Araujo's return, highlighting his critical role in the team's defensive lineup and expressing confidence in his ability to quickly regain match fitness.
