Ruud van Nistelrooy has applied for the managerial position at Coventry City, following his brief but impactful role as interim manager at Manchester United.
Van Nistelrooy stepped in after Erik ten Hag's departure in October 2024, managing United for four matches. He led the team to three wins, including a 3-0 victory over Leicester City in his final game.
Previously, as head coach of PSV Eindhoven from 2022 to 2023, van Nistelrooy achieved a solid record, with 33 wins from 51 games, showcasing his tactical acumen and ability to lead at top-level clubs.
