Nigerian artist Portable Omolalomi has responded to allegations of domestic violence made by his former partner, Queen Dami, during a live broadcast with Daddy Freeze.
Portable strongly denied the accusations, stating, "I have never beaten Queen Dami before." He clarified that his only request was for her to go offline when he saw her participating in a live video at an inappropriate hour. He questioned, "How can I beat you and you will still be in my house for two years, enjoying and doing photoshoots back to back?"
He also claimed that Queen Dami engaged in inappropriate conduct while living with him, alleging that she sent explicit images to other men. Portable emphasized that he married Dami out of pity, following the death of her first husband, the Alaafin of Oyo, and for the sake of her child with the deceased monarch. He explained, "I don't love Dami; it's because of Alaafin's child that I married her out of pity."
Queen Dami has responded to Portable’s claims by refuting them and accusing him of domestic violence. She alleged that Portable physically assaulted her during their relationship.
