Mohamed Salah has emphasized that his primary focus remains on securing the Premier League title with Liverpool, despite ongoing discussions about his potential Ballon d'Or candidacy.
Following a commanding 5-0 victory over West Ham United on December 29, 2024, Salah reiterated his commitment to the team’s objectives.
On winning the Ballon d’Or Salah said: “Only thing in my mind is for Liverpool to win the Premier League”.
In the match, Salah was instrumental, scoring his 20th goal of the season and providing two assists. Luis Díaz opened the scoring in the 30th minute, followed by Cody Gakpo, who netted a goal set up by Salah. Salah then added a third goal just before halftime, bringing the score to 3-0. In the second half, Trent Alexander-Arnold extended the lead with a deflected shot, and Diogo Jota completed the rout with a fifth goal, assisted by Salah.
This decisive win propelled Liverpool to an eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League, underscoring the team's dominance this season.
