This development follows Rashford's omission from the squad in Manchester United's recent 2-1 victory over Manchester City. Manager Ruben Amorim cited tactical reasons for excluding both Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho, emphasizing the importance of training performance, game contributions, and overall professionalism in his selection process.

Rashford, 27, has been a consistent presence in United's lineup this season, featuring in all 15 Premier League matches and contributing seven goals and three assists across 24 appearances in all competitions. However, he has not scored in his last two league outings, coinciding with United's losses to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane commented on Rashford's situation, suggesting that a transfer might be beneficial for both the player and the club. Keane noted concerns regarding Rashford's recent performances and attitude, indicating that a new environment could help rejuvenate his career.

Despite his exclusion from the derby, Rashford expressed support for his teammates, sharing a celebratory message on social media following their comeback win.

As the January transfer window approaches, Rashford's future at Manchester United remains uncertain, with potential suitors likely to monitor the situation closely.
