The case drew significant public attention, with allegations that Paul Pogba had been threatened at gunpoint and coerced into making an initial payment of €100,000. Mathias Pogba’s legal representatives have expressed dissatisfaction with the verdict, describing it as overly severe and suggesting plans to appeal.
