Sacha Boey’s Agent Confirms He’s “Very Happy” at Bayern Amid January Transfer Speculation
Sacha Boey's agent has confirmed that the French defender is "very happy" at Bayern Munich amid ongoing transfer speculation. Boey, who joined Bayern from Galatasaray in January 2024, has quickly become a key player for the club.

Boey signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Bayern Munich, keeping him at the club until June 2028. The deal, worth up to €35 million, has already proven to be a valuable investment for the Bundesliga giants.

Since his arrival, Boey has made a significant impact on the team. In his first season, he has played in **five Bundesliga matches**, contributing **one assist** and helping Bayern secure **four victories**. His performances have been instrumental in Bayern's pursuit of the Bundesliga title.

Reflecting on his time at Bayern, Boey said, "This is a dream come true for me. It’s an honour for me to get to play for such a big club like Bayern. I’m really looking forward to my new team and getting to play with all these great players in the future."

Bayern Munich's sporting director, Christian Freund, praised Boey's contributions, stating, "Sacha Boey is a very quick and physically strong right-back, who covers a lot of ground in every game and doesn’t shy away from any tackles. He was a fan favourite at Galatasaray, has developed very well down the years, arrives with Champions League experience and won the league title with Galatasaray last season. He will increase our quality in defence."

Boey's journey to Bayern Munich began at FC Romainville and Red Star FC before he joined the academy at Rennes in 2014. He made his senior debut for Rennes in Ligue 1 at the age of 18 and later played for Dijon and Galatasaray before moving to Bayern.

As Bayern continues to chase the Bundesliga title, Boey's presence on the right-back position has been crucial. His performances have not only solidified his place in the team but also increased his chances of earning a call-up to the French national team.
