Arteta Hints at Fábio Vieira Recall Amid Arsenal's Injury Challenges

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has indicated the club is considering various options regarding the potential recall of midfielder Fábio Vieira from his loan at FC Porto. 

In a recent statement, Arteta mentioned, "There were certain possibilities with the Fábio situation... We're exploring all of the things that we can do." 

Vieira, 24, rejoined Porto on loan in August 2024 after struggling for consistent playing time at Arsenal. Since his return, he has made ten league appearances, contributing one goal and two assists. 

Arsenal's current injury challenges, notably the absences of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus, have impacted the team's attacking depth. Saka is sidelined until March following hamstring surgery, and Jesus is expected to be out for approximately nine months due to an ACL injury.
