García, a 21-year-old Valencia native, began his career as a winger before transitioning to a right-back role. He joined Levante's youth setup in 2021 and made his senior debut with the B-team in September 2022. His first-team debut followed in January 2023 during a Copa del Rey match against Getafe CF. Over the past seasons, García has made 47 appearances for Levante, scoring four goals.
This transfer marks one of the most significant sales in Levante's history, comparable to previous high-profile departures such as Jefferson Lerma to Bournemouth and Keylor Navas to Real Madrid.
Upon completing his medical examination, García was presented alongside Aston Villa's manager Unai Emery and sporting director Monchi. Expressing his gratitude, García stated, "I would have loved to say goodbye at the Ciutat de València to put the finishing touch to everything I have experienced. I only have words of thanks. I am clear that I will return here."
García's arrival at Aston Villa is anticipated to bolster the team's defensive options as they continue their campaign in the Premier League.
