In a revealing post on Instagram, Basketmouth reflected on his strength and resilience after enduring a difficult time. He wrote, "She underestimated me, thinking I was weak. What she didn't realize was that with each new day, I gained more strength, more drive, and an unshakable determination to succeed."
He continued, "She judged me, ridiculed me, and came at me with everything she had, but eventually, she burned out."
"In the end, I stood taller and stronger than ever before. My comeback was unexpected, but I took back my power."
He further added, "It's incredible how in a split second, someone who once seemed so powerful can be reduced to nothing more than a faint memory."
As he concluded his post, Basketmouth shared a symbolic gesture. "As I walked away, I couldn't resist pausing for a moment. I turned to look back at her. With a bright smile on my face, I raised my right hand and gave her a middle finger, whispering to myself, 'F*ck you 2024, I WON.'"
This post came after the comedian's public announcement in December 2022 that he and his wife, Elsie Okpocha, had separated after 12 years of marriage.
Despite this, in September 2024, Basketmouth posted a video featuring a woman named Victoria Eze, leading to speculation about a potential new relationship.
