While on vacation in the country, Frimpong provided essential items including rice, water, beverages, toiletries, and signed jerseys, ensuring a memorable Boxing Day for the children.
The 23-year-old, who was visiting Ghana for the first time, emphasized the importance of giving back to his roots. Speaking during the visit, Frimpong shared, “I've always wanted to do this; I just wanted to be in the right position to make it happen.
While I play football for my family, being able to support others is equally important to me. Giving back to Africa, my roots, is something I hold dear. I have Ghanaian blood, and bringing joy to these kids means everything.”
His visit coincided with the Bundesliga's winter break, allowing him time to engage in charitable activities before returning to Germany to resume club duties. Frimpong's act of kindness has left a lasting impression on the children and staff at the Osu Children's Home, making this holiday season especially memorable.
