Napoli are reportedly interested in acquiring Chelsea defender Renato Veiga on loan during the January transfer window. 
The 21-year-old Portuguese player, who joined Chelsea from Basel for £12 million six months ago, has been utilized primarily as a left-back by manager Enzo Maresca.
Despite limited playing time—accumulating only 176 minutes in the Premier League this season—Maresca considers Veiga an important part of the squad, making a mid-season departure uncertain.
In addition to Napoli, other European clubs have expressed interest in securing Veiga's services on loan. However, Chelsea's reluctance to let the player leave may impede any potential move.
