Nainggolan, born on May 4, 1988, in Antwerp, Belgium, has had an extensive career, predominantly in Italy. He began his professional journey with Piacenza in Serie B before moving to Serie A side Cagliari. His performances earned him a transfer to AS Roma, where he made 203 appearances and scored 33 goals. He later joined Inter Milan and contributed to their Serie A title-winning campaign in the 2020-21 season.
Internationally, Nainggolan represented Belgium from 2009 to 2018, earning 30 caps and scoring six goals. He was part of the squad that competed in UEFA Euro 2016.
Prior to joining Lokeren-Temse, Nainggolan had been without a club since the summer. His return to Belgian football marks a new chapter in his career, bringing experience and leadership to his new team.
