Iyabo Ojo Criticizes 2Baba for Announcing Separation from Annie Idibia on Social Media

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has publicly criticized singer 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) following his announcement of separation from his wife, Annie Idibia. 

In a statement shared on her Instagram, Ojo expressed disappointment over the timing of the announcement, suggesting it lacked empathy for Annie, who is currently facing public scrutiny due to her appearance on the reality show "Young, Famous & African."

Ojo emphasized the importance of prioritizing children's well-being during challenging times, stating, "When love fades, prioritize your children’s well-being. As parents, sacrifices are essential. Never abandon loved ones in their darkest moments, even if separation or divorce is inevitable."

She further advised against airing sensitive issues publicly, noting that social media can sometimes disregard the well-being of those involved.

Addressing 2Baba directly, Ojo remarked, "Adding fuel to the fire, burning the mother of your kids who’s already vulnerable, is so unempathetic. I’m disappointed."
