Khvicha Kvaratskhelia makes history with his move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) during the January transfer window, becoming the first Georgian player to join the club.
The 23-year-old winger has also been handed the iconic number 7 jersey, previously worn by Kylian Mbappé, marking a significant moment in PSG's history.
Kvaratskhelia's transfer from Napoli, reportedly worth €70 million with potential add-ons, further underscores PSG's commitment to strengthening their squad. His impressive performances at Napoli, where he played a pivotal role in the club's first Serie A title win in 33 years, earned him the Serie A Most Valuable Player award in 2022.
During that campaign, he recorded 12 goals and 13 assists, solidifying his reputation as one of Europe's brightest talents.
Speaking about the transfer, PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi expressed his excitement, stating, "Khvicha is a talented and determined player who will add significant value to our squad." Kvaratskhelia also shared his pride in joining the Parisian club, highlighting his eagerness to contribute to their future successes.
