Mikel Arteta Confirms Arsenal's Transfer Plans Amid Injuries to Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus Ahead of Wolves Clash

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed significant concern following injuries to key forwards Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus, which have left the team lacking in attacking options.

Arteta stated, "We lost two very important players. We lack goals and options in the front, it's clear. If we can get the right player, that's what we're looking at."

Saka is expected to be sidelined until March due to a hamstring injury, while Jesus faces a prolonged absence after suffering a knee injury that required him to be carried off on a stretcher during a recent FA Cup match against Manchester United.

In response to these setbacks, Arteta has emphasized the club's active pursuit of suitable reinforcements in the January transfer window. He noted that the team is "actively looking" to sign a striker to bolster their attacking options.

Despite these challenges, Arsenal is preparing for their upcoming Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The match is scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 4pm
