Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) delivered a stunning performance last night, overturning a two-goal deficit to defeat Manchester City 4-2 in the UEFA Champions League.
The match, held at Parc des Princes, saw Manchester City take the lead early in the second half with goals from Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland in the 50th and 53rd minutes, respectively. However, PSG responded emphatically. Ousmane Dembélé initiated the comeback in the 56th minute, converting a cross from Bradley Barcola. Barcola then equalized four minutes later, capitalizing on a rebound after Désiré Doué's shot struck the crossbar. João Neves gave PSG the lead in the 78th minute, heading in after a defensive lapse from City. Gonçalo Ramos sealed the victory in stoppage time with a precise strike from just inside the box, confirmed after a VAR review.

This victory propels PSG to 22nd in the standings, bolstering their chances of advancing in the competition. Conversely, Manchester City now sits at 25th, facing the risk of elimination. City's manager, Pep Guardiola, acknowledged PSG's superiority, stating, "We accept the defeat because the best team won." He emphasized the importance of their upcoming match against Club Brugge, noting that a win is essential to keep their qualification hopes alive.

PSG's manager, Luis Enrique, praised his team's resilience, stating, "The team's faith is unshakeable. My team never gives up until the last second and we've often shown that." The Parisians will look to maintain this momentum as they prepare for their final group-stage match against VfB Stuttgart.
