Chelsea Striker Crisis: Nicolas Jackson Out Until April, Blues Face Tough Times Ahead

Nicolas Jackson has been dealt a significant blow as Chelsea FC confirmed that the striker will be sidelined with an injury until late March or early April, according to @TeleFootball.

In light of Jackson's absence, head coach Enzo Maresca has suggested that Cole Palmer could step up and play as a central striker to fill the void left by the injured forward. 

Additionally, Marc Guiu, who recently replaced Jackson during the match against West Ham United, has also been injured. Maresca described Guiu's injury as serious, implying a potentially long recovery period. 

These setbacks leave Chelsea facing a challenging period ahead, particularly with key attacking players unavailable. Chelsea's next match is against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium on Friday, February 14, 2025.
