Evan Ferguson Joins West Ham on Loan from Brighton

Evan Ferguson has completed a loan move to West Ham United from Brighton & Hove Albion, securing a deal that will keep him at the London club until the end of the season. The 20-year-old Irish striker, who made his Brighton debut in 2021 under then-manager Graham Potter, will now reunite with Potter, who took charge of West Ham last month.

Expressing his excitement about the transfer, Ferguson highlighted his eagerness to contribute to the team and work again under Potter’s guidance. His arrival comes after a challenging period recovering from a cruciate ligament injury that kept him sidelined for five months, followed by an ankle issue that ruled him out for over a month. He made his return to action on Saturday in Brighton’s 7-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.

West Ham, currently 15th in the Premier League standings, will take on sixth-placed Chelsea later today.
