Manuel Neuer Extends Contract with Bayern Munich Until June 2026, Securing His Future at the Club for Two More Seasons

Manuel Neuer has extended his contract with Bayern Munich until June 2026, securing his position as the club's goalkeeper for at least two more seasons.

The 38-year-old, who joined Bayern in 2011, expressed his enthusiasm for continuing his tenure with the club, emphasizing his passion for football and his commitment to Bayern's objectives. 

Max Eberl, Bayern's board member for sport, lauded Neuer as the best goalkeeper of his generation and a club icon, highlighting the significance of this contract extension. 

As part of the new agreement, Neuer is expected to mentor rising talent Jonas Urbig, the German U21 national goalkeeper recently acquired from FC Köln. Urbig will join Bayern in the summer and is anticipated to learn from Neuer, Sven Ulreich, and Daniel Peretz during the upcoming season.
