The 25-year-old Portuguese international, who transferred to Chelsea from Atlético Madrid in August 2024 for £46 million, has found limited playing time at Stamford Bridge, starting only three Premier League matches and scoring one goal.
The loan agreement entails AC Milan covering Félix's wages and paying a loan fee of approximately £5 million. Notably, the deal does not include an option for Milan to purchase Félix outright at the conclusion of the loan period.
At AC Milan, Félix will reunite with Portuguese head coach Sérgio Conceição, presenting an opportunity for increased playing time and a chance to revitalize his season. Milan, currently eighth in Serie A, recently secured a 1-1 draw against Inter Milan and is preparing to face AS Roma in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.
This move also sees Félix joining former Chelsea teammates Fikayo Tomori, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Christian Pulisic, who have all made the switch to the Rossoneri.
