Mikel Arteta Provides Injury Update on Ben White and Bukayo Saka Ahead of Arsenal's Upcoming Fixtures

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on the team's injury situation following their recent match against Manchester City.
He confirmed that there are no new injuries from that game. Defender Ben White remains sidelined but is expected to be available after the upcoming international break in March. Regarding forward Bukayo Saka, who is recovering from hamstring surgery, Arteta stated that he is not yet ready to return and did not provide a specific timeline for his comeback.

These injuries come at a challenging time for Arsenal, as they are currently trailing 2-0 after the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Newcastle United. The team will need a significant performance at St James’ Park to overturn the deficit and secure a place in the final at Wembley Stadium.

The absence of key players like White and Saka has been a concern for Arteta, especially with the team's recent lack of activity in the January transfer window. Despite efforts to bolster the squad, Arsenal did not secure any new signings, leaving them to rely on existing players and academy prospects to navigate the remainder of the season.
