Lucas Vázquez Ruled Out for Up to 20 Days Due to Muscle Injury, Real Madrid Confirms

Real Madrid has confirmed that Lucas Vázquez has sustained a muscle injury and will be sidelined for approximately 15 to 20 days. 

The setback rules him out of upcoming fixtures, including the crucial Champions League first-leg clash against Manchester City.  

The 33-year-old featured in Real Madrid’s recent draw against Atlético Madrid, but medical assessments later determined the extent of his injury. 

His absence adds to the club’s defensive concerns, with key players like Éder Militão, Dani Carvajal, David Alaba, and Antonio Rüdiger also dealing with injuries. Manager Carlo Ancelotti may need to explore alternative defensive strategies to compensate for the depleted squad.
