Nuno Mendes Signs New PSG Contract, Becomes One of Club’s Top Earners

Nuno Mendes has officially extended his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), solidifying his place as one of the club’s highest earners.

The Portuguese left-back, who initially joined PSG on loan from Sporting CP in 2021 before making the move permanent, has become an integral part of the team’s defense. His performances have played a key role in PSG’s domestic success, including multiple Ligue 1 titles.  

Since his arrival at the club, Mendes has featured in 113 matches across all competitions, contributing four goals. In the 2024/25 Ligue 1 season, he has made 14 appearances, playing a total of 1,084 minutes and providing two assists. In the UEFA Champions League, he has participated in seven matches, registering one goal.  

Speaking about his contract extension, Mendes expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I’m very proud to continue my journey with Paris Saint-Germain. This club has felt like home since I arrived, and I am excited to keep contributing to its success.”
