Manchester United has officially signed 18-year-old defender Ayden Heaven from Arsenal. Heaven, an England U-19 international, has committed to a contract extending until June 2029, with an option for an additional year.
Heaven began his youth career at West Ham United before joining Arsenal's academy in 2019. He made his senior debut for Arsenal in October 2024 during a 3-0 League Cup victory over Preston North End. Throughout his time with Arsenal, he accumulated 37 appearances across their under-21 and under-18 teams and featured in 10 UEFA Youth League matches over the past two seasons.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the move, Heaven stated, "I am incredibly proud to join Manchester United. I'm grateful to everyone who helped make this dream a reality."
Manchester United's management highlighted Heaven's talent and potential, emphasizing the club's commitment to nurturing young players. The transfer involved a substantial compensation fee, reportedly over £1 million.
Heaven will join Manchester United's first-team squad immediately.
