Noah Okafor Handed Napoli’s Number 9 Shirt Following Loan Move from AC Milan

Swiss forward Noah Okafor has been assigned the number 9 jersey at Napoli following his loan move from AC Milan. The transfer includes an option for Napoli to purchase Okafor at the end of the season. 

Okafor's acquisition comes after Napoli's sale of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain. The number 9 jersey was previously worn by Victor Osimhen, who departed the club last summer. 

Okafor, 24, began his professional career with FC Basel before moving to Red Bull Salzburg, where he won multiple Austrian Bundesliga titles. He joined AC Milan in 2023, making 39 appearances and scoring seven goals. Internationally, Okafor has earned 24 caps for Switzerland, netting two goals. 

Napoli fans are eager to see how Okafor will bolster the team's attacking options as they aim for success in domestic and European competitions this season.
