Following Manchester City's 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid, which resulted in a 6-3 aggregate elimination from the Champions League, manager Pep Guardiola acknowledged the superiority of the Spanish side.

He stated, "Tonight the best team won, that's simple. Real Madrid were the best team and they won, it's deserved."

Guardiola further reflected on his team's performance, admitting, "We've been the worst this year." He emphasized the need for a rebuild, noting that Manchester City is "no longer extraordinary."

In contrast, Real Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti praised striker Kylian Mbappé, whose hat-trick secured the victory. Ancelotti expressed his belief that Mbappé has the potential to reach the same level as Cristiano Ronaldo, Real's all-time leading scorer.

This result propels Real Madrid into the Champions League's last 16, where they will face either Bayer Leverkusen or Atlético Madrid.
